Why this priority?
An organization grays and wrinkles without intentional leadership development. Jesus himself fed the multitudes but concentrated on the few key leaders who would then lead thousands. To intentionally create a diverse pipeline of leaders—in ethnicity, gender, and age—All Nations in September 2022 has launched the Pioneering Leadership Development strategic priority! Key initiatives we are focusing on within the next 12 months in 2023-24 include:
• Conducting a 2-month missional young leaders training for Chinese-speaking youth and young adults, ages 18-28. (This will occur in June – August this year!)
• Creating a “Lead Like Jesus” model in discovery bible study (DBS) format that is easily shareable using mobile devices for our local church planters. (This will occur within 6 -12 months.)
• Forming and disbursing the Floyd McClung Memorial Scholarship Fund for Empowering African and Women Leaders. (We launched this fund in late 2022 and have created an application process and are in the final process of awarding the first distributions from this fund.)
• Customizing leadership training for our key African leaders who can then train other African leaders. (This training will occur within the next 9-12 months.)
• Gathering and equipping key leaders in All Nations for dialogue, learning, and skills development. (We recently held a training for some of our leaders in the Middle East and have more to do to follow-up with this specific effort this year.)
Friends have observed that All Nations has many women leaders, indigenous leaders, and young leaders. We are passionate about producing global leaders across the gender, ethnic, and generational divide!
Dr. Mary Ho leads this specific effort priority group and has a passion to ensure our pioneer women and African pioneer leaders are fully equipped and supported. We want to do all that is needed to follow the Holy Spirit’s leading! Would you play a vital role to help support this very large endeavor?
Please join us in this strategic endeavor;
we need you!
